Some people find their calling. Mine found me during one of the hardest seasons of my life. AmiWho was built while I was starting over as a single mother, learning firsthand the value of structure, clarity, and resilience under pressure.
That experience shapes how I work today. I understand what it means to carry a lot and keep moving forward, and I bring that same steady, practical energy to every client I support. Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying great food, a good glass of wine, and the hospitality industry I’m so passionate about. Ami O’Connell
Founder
I hold a double diploma in bookkeeping and accounting, an arts degree majoring in writing, and I’m a registered BAS agent. I also have a global WSET wine accreditation, supporting my work with Western Australia’s hospitality and wine industry. I combine financial insight, clear communication, and industry understanding to help businesses make informed decisions.

Abviegail Mallari
Senior Bookkeeper
I joined AmiWho in June 2024 as a part-time Bookkeeper and transitioned to a full-time role as Senior Bookkeeper on 16 June 2025. In my role, I support clients with accurate financial record-keeping, payroll processing, and day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to help ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

Phia Alday
Business Assistant
I’m Pia, working alongside Ami to keep AmiWho running smoothly behind the scenes. I manage daily operations, workflows, digital assets, and internal systems to ensure everything stays organised and on track. I thrive on problem-solving and improving efficiency, creating space for the team to focus on their strengths while keeping the business structured, aligned, and moving forward.

Kara Kelly
Senior Bookkeeper / Client Manager
I’ve been working with Ami for many years and have been part of the AmiWho journey long-term. In my role as Senior Bookkeeper, I support clients with accurate financial record-keeping, reconciliations, payroll processing, and day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to ensure their accounts are kept clean, compliant, and up to date. I’m highly detail-focused and take pride in maintaining organised systems that allow business owners to stay confident in their numbers. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable support and help clients maintain smooth and efficient financial operations.

Marie Jennings
Office Manager
I help keep the business running smoothly by overseeing the day to day coordination of tasks, supporting the team, and making sure everything stays organised behind the scenes. From scheduling and communication to keeping systems and processes in place, I make sure the moving parts of the business stay on track. I enjoy bringing structure and consistency to a busy environment and take pride in being someone the team can rely on. My focus is on keeping things efficient, organised, and running seamlessly so our clients and team are always supported.
